I HAVE 50 ACRES IN RURAL VA. WITH 3 SHOOTING RANGES AS A RETIRED POLICE DET. I HAVE MANY STEEL TARGETS SUSPENDED AT 150YDS BY CABLE. THESE STEEL TARGETS WERE CHEAPER THAN RETAIL STORES I PURCHASED FROM. THE EXISTING TARGETS ARE ATTACHED USING 1/4IN. SHACKLES ONTO THE CABLE. WITH THESE TARGETS MY ONLY ISSUE IS THAT THEY DRILL THE HOLES TOO FAR INTO THE TARGET SURFACE CAUSING ME TO MOUNT THEM WITH OVERKILL SHACKLES. THEY DONT NEED ALL THAT METAL SURFACE TO HOLD A FLOATING TARGET.
