    Good, but not great...

    Excellent for heavy lead tones. Sounds best when plugged into the clean channel of a tube amp, instead of running direct into a mixer. As far as lead gain goes, this thing is solid. If you want something more versatile, I'd go with the Wampler Sovereign, or Friedman BE-OD.
