    This version is out of date

    Seeing is algorithms for Google change constantly in the HTML code somewhat change a book from 2006 is why on a date. A book from 3 years ago would be even out of date, but a book out of 2006 definitely out of date! The content in this book is very good except for the out-of-date algorithms and whatnot. The rest of the book has good tips and can actually help someone looking into selling on eBay. The point of the book is to write a good listing and that's what this book conversation is is telling you how to write a good listing.

    Great for the newest ebay sellers

    If you are somebody who has no clue about selling on eBay then this book is for you. It covers everything you need to know about taking good pictures, writing catchy titles and selling descriptions, as well as good customer service tips. However, if you have any experience at all selling on eBay you probably don't need this book. I had been selling on eBay for about a year when I picked it up and found that I already had 99% of the information. Overall, this book gets lost in the shuffle with millions of others that contain the same or similar information. Most of what is included can be found right here in the eBay discussion topics for free.

    This is a good book for anyone selling on ebay to enhance your knowledge. I checked this book out at my local library. My purchase for checking the book out was to gain knowledge on taking better pictures and posting them on the site. Well to my surprise; there were many great things to help me out with listing my items. After that I researched ebay and then purchase the book, now I can return the library copy. I will be purchasing more of these books for Dummies, because you are really not a dummy...they are really good and easy to follow. Thanks, Sandra

    Good Reference for beginners with HTML TIPS

    I received this book along with three others all signed by Marsha Collier. It's a great book to purchase for someone who is starting out or is interesed in starting out but hasn't made the plunge yet. You will find some good step by step pointers as well as HTML that you can use straight away. Makes a good reference book.
