My son had this Illustrated Bible years ago, and even I understood things better when I had a visual image of the characters, their clothes, the landscape, etc. The pictures really brought the scenes to life! I hadn't really paid much attention to the short verses in the Bible about the young gang mocking Elisha's bald head (and their consequence!) until I saw this picture! It has always stuck with me! That's why I got this book for my grandchildren. It's awesome! You can't wait to turn the page!Great for all ages. Great Bible done in the style of a comic book. Excellent art!
Incredible art by Sergio Cariello. This is being enjoyed by an 8th grade boy. He is more prone to read the Scriptures in this format. One thing I will mention for older folks, it is small print in the cartoon bubbles. It's perfect size for the target audience.
