best heads being made 2day
this=type of head used to be called "rough coat" back in the day &&& then they stopped producing them. Aquarian solved that error by putting these heavier coated heads which dampen snare ring (for studio work) and which deliver a very projetive brush sound during any//all ballads. They're my choice for even toms too. steve multon ( 4 different drums sets ;1929 Leedy, 1949 Gretsch, 1951 Mahogany Gretsch, and a modern custom 2010 Gretsch...ALL with Aquarian headsthis=type of head used to be called "rough coat" back in the day &&& then they stopped producing them.
