Samson C01 is a very Professional Microphone -Top marks
From the moment you start unpacking the box, you can see that this is a quality product. Taking time to 'build' the complete kit. The stand uses the larger us format connectors, but you also have included the thread to convert to the smaller UK standard. (Yes this court we out at the start) The quality of the USB microphone is amazing. Having all the electronics in the microphone, this means that the resulting audio is past on by the USB connection. The cradle is of very good quality and keeps the microphone safe from the bumps and bashes. I have already made a number of recordings and the most amazing thing is that I now pay little attention to the recording levels. I setup my PC for a medium, if not quiet level for recording. If you need a microphone with the option to receive in all directions, then lookout for the CO3 version. If my had my time again, I think I would have paid a little more for that one.

Really handy mic! For its price it can pull quite a load!
This is my third C01 Mic, i love this thing. The first one i bouyght in 2002 in Sam Ash, New York, and loved it a lot. I use it for vocals, and eventually bought another one for my guitar. The third one i bought to record raw material while at my country house. The mic does sound good, and has a very reasonable price. Samson makes a lot of great stuff, my recording fleet and rack cases count almost a dozen of Samson gear. Some of my friends have this kind of mic, and as far as i know, they do not regret.This is my third C01 Mic, i love this thing. Samson Studio Microphones Are Great
In my first class studying music production I was pleased to hear the Samson C03 Multipatern microphone was a great low cost instrument. I own two and Owned 1, C01. Now I have a pair of each and both pairs are doing a fantastic job. They are an economical entry microphone and have served me well for 15 years and recommend them if you’re want to build a reliable beginners studio.

I am an armature sound guy for my church and for a community choir. I bought four of these to mike the community choir of 40 people. They worked great for the price that they were offered for. I did purchase the Spider Shock mounts for them separately. The recording quality was very good for the price. I also purchased two cases to store them in from Harbor Freight and Tools.
