Emperor is the king
I have played drums for 40+ years and have used heads from every major manufacturer. The Remo Emperors are a fantastic drum head. The coated version gives me the sound I am looking for. I’m sure the drum make and model and year of build could have an impact on how the Emp’s sound on YOUR kit but on my early 90’s DW’s and my late 90’s GMS drums they provide the right amount of attack and tone that suits my needs.
