It's an excellent quick workout machine, which is both gentle on your knees and ankle. Your Feet never leave the footrest and the exercise motion is very much like climbing stairs.. I love doing 15 mins stair session every 3-4 hours thru the day....without breaking a sweat...

We got our BowFlex Max M5 in Dec 2019, and in July discovered that it was no longer functioning. Doing mainly the 14-minute workout twice a week, it seemed like a nice addition to my other workout equipment and programs. However, one day, I looked up and the screen was not right -- looking like constant interval spikes up and down -- and it was not showing calories burned or any other change of info during a workout. You hit "MAX" and the RPM needle goes up and down, but then does not do anything else it is supposed to do. There's still resistance, and the fan still moves with each step, so it doesn't appear to be a mechanical or electrical problem, so it would likely be software or chip issues. After months of trying to deal with BowFlex, we've just given up. --- Not a good investment.

From the first time I used this machine, I knew I had to have it. You get a great full body workout in a short period of time. Blasts your body into shape. 5 star.

I love this machine. This was a great buy. Whole body feels great since I’ve started using it.

Solid, heavy and seems to be built to last. It's too tall to fit my 6'1" frame on it in the basement, but that's hardly a fault, just something to watch out for if you are shopping.
