I'm sure people are aware of the performance of a GTX 1080. This card out of the box is louder than expected as the radiator fan runs at what seems like full speed. Once replaced with a standard 120mm fan and plugged into the motherboard (and controlled based on GPU temp) you're good to go. The hoses to and from the cooler are narrower than my H100i v2 (just over 1cm?) and so I wonder if the pump is stressed at all. Temperatures when running BOINC tasks never exceeds 52c but ymmv depending on your fans, ambient temperatures etc. Overclocking performance for me are approximately 2076mhz core and 4865mhz mem, so +75 and +350 stable.

Got the card today. Works great. Always under 64 degrees in my amplifier. Came with a bit dust on it but it’s very easy to clean. Detailed it, wax it done! Five stars rating!!

What to say. It is an EVGA GTX 1080 and it works great. Cool RGB lighting and quiet. It already had the thermal padding mod so I am good to go. Thanks!

I bought a refurbished card, hoping that I would not encounter fan issues or coil wine others have complained of, and it works great! I think the value for this card was definitely in a sweet spot of both performance and price. Thanks, EVGA and NewEgg. I'm a happy gamer!
