I really enjoy reading. Kimberla Lawson Roby is an author whose books I like to read. Using Half.com allows me to put in my favorite author's name and see all of the books available by them. "The Best Kept Secret" is another great book to add to my collection of her books as well as to my library!
I disliked the fact the book didnt have the cover as shown in the picture. I cannot add it it to my collection and will have to donate the book at this point. The cover was a water damaged,washed out, dirty bottom of your shoe brown.The content of the book was an excellent read, but I could have bought the book in a bookstore and gotten the pretty, attractive cover as illustrated in the picture so I could sit in on my bookcase.
I completely enjoyed this book. Kimberla Lawson Roby takes a powerhouse topic like prosperous preachers and really delves into their lives. I did like the fact that Curtis Black had gotten on the right road and was trying to mend his ways. I think a little more history on Charlotte to see how she became so materialistic would have been nice. I just started reading Love & Lies and look forward to the end story of Curtis and Charlotte.
This Book was in excellent condition. I bought this book because it was a part of a series and I wanted to read the 3rd book I have been looking for this book for awhile. I'm so glad I found it!
I had read one of Kimberly's book previously and I like her style of writing. Once I started reading, I was not able to put it down.
