Who wants to run their boat for 10 minutes and then wait 2 hours for the battery to charge before you can run it again? This was the answer for me. I haven't run my boat with them yet but the charger charged both batteries at the same time, as expected. It's nice to have 2 backup batteries and an extra charger.
