I bought the Zimectrin Gold for the first time not realizing there were stronger versions of the paste under a different brand name which were similarly priced. The stronger paste is Equamax which I recently used and appears to be going a good job. If your preference is for a weaker horse wormer then the Zimectrin Gold should be ok. It's not a bad paste; just weaker than what I require.

I love this stuff! It always works great on my horses. One of the few wormers that gets rid of both tapeworms and bots. I wish they would improve the taste. I guess that's my only real complaint about it. I will buy again!

Zimecterin gold should be the only kind of wormer that is even sold you can use it on your dogs cats goats sheep and although people don't want to believe their animals have worms they all have parasites and continue to produce parasites and you must use this warmer sometimes at least even if it's only once a year if I had this warmer my old horse would still be alive but it was right when it was coming out and I didn't know about it
