This mic will blow your mind for the price. I'm being honest. I just financed a $2700 mic, recorded a new song, and compared the two mics. The sound was very similar. I used the same plug in settings also. If you're looking for a high quality mic to really put out some music especially on the radio for cheaper than expensive, this is the go to microphone I can bet it on my life. I really feel like this gives you high quality at a reasonable price. You should have to spend about a thousand on this mic. Used, I think it should still be worth over $600. But of course, that's depending on the condition. It gives just enough bass in your vocals to sound realistic without being overpowering. You can EQ down the bass if you want but I barely needed to touch that setting. The high end is so good that if you EQ it any higher, It would sound toooo crisp. It's another mic that ol' save time and effort. It looks kinda old school and has a name that doesn't describe it well but it's the real deal at a real steal. Get this mic until you can afford you a $5,000 or higher mic. I am Cornel J and "Can We" on soundcloud, itunes, and everywhere basically was recorded with the Blueberry Blue Mic. Make sure you find a nice audio interface. I strongly suggest the Tascam UH7000. Leveling makes all the difference! and keep your mouth and pop filter close enough. This microphone is great for getting vocals to the front of the mix and is incredibly clear. I had been working with a female vocalist in a heavy rock band who always seemed to get buried in the mix until we used the blueberry. There isn't anything I could say it has sounded bad on. It works very well for voice over on a variety of people, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and pretty much anything I've thrown at it. But, my first choice is using it for singers.

On vocals it shines while going through a Summit pre and captures the natural nuances of the voice as well as the articulations of stringed instruments. By adjusting proximity of the mic,it delivers subtle differences that add nice colors to your recordings and sounds amazingly natural always. Nice open and airy top!
