This is my first time using a powered pole saw. It worked great. I would recommend viewing the video on the Litheli website to be sure all is put together properly. The unit performed exactly as indicated with ease. I trimmed a small tree handily without using the extension. Weight was okay for this job. I have only used for that one job and if it lasts as predicted I will be very satisfied. The battery stayed charged during the entire trimming so I don't know how long it can last. It sure beats gas powered or corded saws. The pros were ease of use, rotating head, reasonable weight, quiet operation, long lasting battery and good value.

At first I thought it would be great. However, it leaks oil and the chain comes off. For me, it is hard to get the chain back on. Have no idea if the tension adjustment works, as I can't turn it. I will say it cuts nice and is lightweight. It is easy enough for a woman to use.

Package product- I didn't have to buy the tool , battery and charger separately. While similar to the Lynxx Pole Saw this one has a movable had for different angles. The offset to this is that the saw head has some wiggle in it, but not enough to be a big issue. I also like the chain tensioner on the Litheli model. I did have one surprise though. My Lynxx batteries work in the Litheli. the Litheli battery is a little larger than the Lynxx batteries and will not work on Lynxx tools. The upside is that my investment in Lynxx batteries work well in my new tool. There are 3 electric yard tool brands Lynxx, Litheli and Atlas, It would be a boon to those companies is all batteries would work in all brands (so you wouldnt have to buy a whole new set when one brand is discontinued).

Very impressed with this pole saw. Battery charge lasts a long time. Battery charges very quickly. Light weight, easy to handle and reaches ten feet easily. Easy to adjust chain tension, no tools required. Automatic chain oiler keeps chain lubricated well.
