Great for confined spaces, excellent clarity
Despite some slightly negative reviews about this welding mask goggle set I purchased it anyways knowing there were always work arounds for the section of the mask where your nose rests as people were complaining the plastic cuts into your upper nose. Honestly I didnt have that problem once while using it, the key is dont over tighten the headstrap and it wont force the mask into the bridge of your nose. The strap should be loose enough to where you can slide the entire thing on over your head with one hand! The quality of the darkening lense and clarity is excellent in my opinion yet Ive never owned a $300 optrel to compare it to neither. I would suggest wearing a baseball cap on backwards or similar, this will definitely work great in close spaces. The only thing I noticed which ... The only thing I noticed which isnt a negative but changing between cutting and welding modes requires taking it off but I may just try leaving it cutting mode for both plasma cutting and mig welding within a lower arc range of course. I think I also need to just play with the adjustments some more to find a happy medium. I highly recommend this product especially considering the other goggle/face masks on the market or 3 times the price.

This is the best welding mask I ever used. No more back light, very light weight and comfortable, I recommend it to anyone who weld inside and outside. Even with 2 sensors this google works better than helmets with 4 sensors.

Arrived at the right time.
Was able to get under my car on floor jacks and not worry about the large welding helmets not allowing me to really do a good weld. The mask and goggles where there right size so that I could manage around the tight space under the car since it's a bit difficult to be laying down in the floor and only have the clearance of the floor jacks.

For outdoor welding June 26th
The mask fits and feels really good; Silicon gasket really soft, it seals very good. Tried my flashlight and no glare came thru the gasket. Mask is 9” tall x 8” in the wide section. Pretty clear lens. I will try it tomorrow and after a regular work day outdoors (field) i will revise this review. Holy wow! This thing is amazing! Welding my hole shift praising this mask/goggles ZERO GLARE and with the light weight this thing is, I just love it!! I will add some leather to protect the neck from flash burn though ( I used the cap that covers down to the neck) Fits perfectly over my glasses frame no discomfort , just sweat it was 96 degrees today The gasket has a molded “notch” for the glasses frame to fit.
