History Channel - Vampire Secrets review
I say skip this dvd, there is nothing really captivating within. SPOILER.....Spoiler......Spoiler....Spoiler......Spoiler....... Skip ahead to avoid the SPOILERS!....... First they talk about Bram Stoker and his inspirations, Vlad the Impaler. Interesting but not soo great, then Elizabeth Bathalroy the woman who bathed in virgins blood. Then a case about some boy who killed people cause he thought he was a vampire. Then the last portion (Id say the Bulk of the dvd) talks about modern day vampires. Not really Vampires just gothy people who put fake Fangs in there mouths. The lamest thing is they call them selves PhysyVamps cause they dont feed off of blood but rather just peoples energy. End Spoilers..........End Spoilers.........End Spoilers....... The dvd was ok but then got really ... I say skip this dvd, there is nothing really captivating within. The History Channel did a fantastic job on this documentary. Whether you think you know everything about vampires or not - you can learn something from this dvd. I loved the fact that they included the evidence that had been gathered over hundreds of years. This documentary fuels our desire to learn more about vampires and helps us decode the myths, legends and folklore. With all the crap we've heard and seen in the media over the years it's hard to tell what's real or what's believable. The History Channel answered many of these questions with concrete evidence. This dvd supports the neverending battle of interest in the vampire culture and lifestyle. No matter how you feel about them - we can't help but be curious and get drawn in and that's exactly what this dvd will do. I highly ... The History Channel did a fantastic job on this documentary. The History Channel Vampire Secrets 2009
I had never seen this movie before and took a chance in getting it. There is a lot of information here. For the first time Elizabeth of Battery (?) was described in detail. Folklore, science and other types of in depth definitions that change with the times or era/age are given in good dramatizations and explained very well. The narration was captivating. Recommended for people who have an interest in vampires, blood drinking and/or rituals, detective investigations and the goth culture as well. This movie documentary is NOT for the faint of heart or the squeamish! This documentary is NOT for children! Please be warned!I had never seen this movie before and took a chance in getting it. GREAT DOCUMENTARY ON VAMPIRES
This is an amazing documentary on vampires. It is a must have for any vampire enthusist. It tells a great story on the origins of vampires, how the early myths started and how they are still around today. You got to have this in your collection.
