I ordered this as a replacement for a Trigger Tyme pistol that died. There is an Achilles' Heel in this pistol - the tiny, surface-mounted laser switch that is struck by the internal "firing pin" can come off. It's unrepairable, although you could return the pistol to LaserLyte. I simply opted to purchase another one, as it is an excellent training tool otherwise. I have a target, the color-change trainer, and the little targets that I scatter around my practice area. It's a great product that ultimately saves time and money at the range.

The gun works but is very light with a heavy trigger. It pulls off target easily. I did not want to keep a real gun with laser in it hanging around to play the game with. The real gun with laser was very much more accurate and that is with a gun that is double action on every shot. Remember, with no shot the slide does not rack so each shot is double action only.

Overall it is a great training device but with a few changes it can be even better. It needs to mimic the Glock more closely. The reset is NOT like a Glock's. Its way too long...trigger has to be all the way forward before it resets. The trigger itself is too long and has a weird curve shape to it. The handle is slippery/smooth. It needs texture.
