Injuries from a car accident in my early teens were considered minor with minimal future problems. It didn't quite work out that way. I've had physical therapy off and on through the years. Since college I've had to do some kind of stretching exercises to stay flexible, mobile with fewer ouchies. I like doing the yoga poses. This DVD is an add-on to the interesting sheet of exercises the physical therapists give as homework. Peggy Cappy has the yoga poses modified based on your ability/flexibility. If you need to do it sitting, steadied with a chair or stand-alone you can do it too. So don't wait until you are flexible to try this because these exercises will increase your flexibility, get your energy flowing, and even put a smile on your face. This is definitely a way to increase your body awareness and improve your mind-body connection. So much we do or don't do is automatic or habit. THIS is a worthwhile habit to do regularly it's relaxing and reduces stress too. Give it a try!Read full review
I bought this DVD originally as a PBS fundraiser and oh my gosh is it awesome! I love Peggy Cappy and her delivery of instruction, plus her exercises have helped me immeasurably. Due to injuries sustained as an overactive kiddo, I have arthritis in all kinds of joints and places in my body; her DVD addresses them all. If you need your yoga adapted - like you can't get on the floor safely or have difficulty standing - she gives you chair yoga poses to do along with her. I bought this copy for my sister who is going through some difficulties with newly-diagnosed arthritis and she is over the moon about the DVD and how it addresses the entire body. If you buy it, you won't regret your purchase.

The video is very similar to such media on Tai Chi and Chi Kung for the easing of Arthritis. I have bought books and the dvds out there which are largely a method of extracting money and a complete waste of time and effort. This video by Penny is excellent and the benefits can soon be felt by someone like me who has osteopenia at the neck and arthritis in both hands and hips. I can't believe how cheap this DVD is a huge bargain. Folk with similar problems should obtain a copy if possible and start using the techniques.

As a spinal arthritis sufferer, I must do daily therapy to help manage pain and keep my joints loose and flexible. It gets boring doing the same therapy routines, however, I do have limitations due to my progressive disease.

These exercises are great for well being and peace. They are not fast yet the stretch you thoroughly, great for older people. Good exercises for people with injuries for therapy and back pain. I do these 3 times a week and they are great, a good investment.
