Bought 2 sleeves, all 6 balls broke within 7-8 hours of play - TERRIBLE durability! Should have believed the reviews I read prior to purchase. Played great while they lasted, but thought a USAPA approved ball would deliver better. Seller was nice enough to send replacement sleeve when notified, but no better durability result. Am sending these back, going back to using Onix balls - still using some of those after 3 months of use! (Although playing characteristics much different) if looking for a ball you can play for awhile, get something else!

Approximately 25%-33% of the Franklin X-40 Pickleballs are either "out of round" , or out of balance. I enjoy playing with a "good" X-40, but the price keeps going up, and the quality issues with "balance" or "out of round" continue to grow. Franklin needs to RE-INVEST in this product to fix it's on-going issues! I prefer this ball to the DURA 40 b/c is does not crack as easily as the Dura 40 - BUT the lopsidedness and the weird bounces of the X-40 are turning me from a "fan" to a "doubter"....

The balls play nicely, but they broke in a short period of time. I didn't get to use them very long. Disappointed. I am now trying another brand.

Like the weight of ball and how it reacts . One did crack with some use, but it is probably to be expected

Just getting into pickleball but these balls seem to be very popular at our local court. These balls are better for outdoor play but could be used for both indoor and outdoor play.
