Sound is just like new speakers
I followed the instructions on YouTube and it was easy to install. The difficult part was taking the speakers out of the door panels but I also got information how to do it from the Lexus club site. The speakers sound awesome now

It works!
I purchased a 2005 SC430 and the stereo sounded poorly. No bass response. I replace the foam rings on the front door speakers in an afternoon the did all 3 rear speakers the next afternoon. My Lexus stereo now sounds like new. Find instructions on YouTube. It looks complicated, but it's not. You would spend over $1k on new speakers, not including installation. That isn't necessary. Low cost alternative to replacing with new speakers.
Any SC owner will at sometime need to replace the surrounds in all 5 speakers. Very reasonable price. I had a sound company install these but with YouTube and a little patients, they may be installed by the individual. Updated my Mark Levinson speakers for pennies compared to the price of new speakers.
