This vacuum has AMAZING suction!! I had a Dyson before this one but this one is way better. The cord is longer, way better suction. Although the only thing I do not like on this is the handle and the way the wand connects to the hose. The handle seems cheesy compared to the Dyson dc25. And the way the wand sits is a little funky. But overall, love this vacuum suction power! Would reccomend.

It wasn't clean when I received it- a large cloud of dust came out the first time I turned it on, and it stinks like a dog. Seems to work ok, but not as well as I would expect a Dyson to work.

Wow! I have 2 cats and a dog. I have a robotic vacuum which I had clean first. Then I used the Animal 2. It picked up twice as more dirt and animal hair than the robotic vacuum. I emptied both of the dust bins and the Animal 2 picked up twice as much as the robotic vacuum AND that was after the robotic vacuum had completed the job first. I use the Animal 2 daily and now use the robotic vacuum weekly for cleaning under furniture like under the beds.

After pushing around a Dyson DC28 for many years, I'm very impressed with the easy handling of this Ball Animal 2. The suction seems to be better, it's quieter and does a much better job on edges. It has some difficulty rolling over and sucking up larger debris like large-breed kibble but I'm very pleased with the performance.
