Alarm system in a Clasic car
These switches worked exceptionally well for my car alarm. They made the installation of hood and trunk lid switches easy. Wires could be run in the same bundles with stock wireing and fasten anywhere on the lids. These switches are high quality, fully Inclosed with a mounting tab. Made my life easy on a difficult installation in my Clasic car.

Not mercury but works
Like other reviews mentioned, they show a picture of a mercury switch, but they will send you a ball bearing tilt switch. Mercury has shipping restrictions.

Great substitution
I repacked 2 trunk latches on CTS cuz of a defective internal trunk lite switch . Cost for these $500. So I wired this Mercury Tilt switch so it turns on the trunk lite. Works perfectly.
