Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Vintage Amplifiers & Tube Amps
I have been an audiophile for over 20 years having owned many expensive, and mid-priced, solid state and tube based systems. I was absolutely floored by how good this 40 year old, rather humble looking, solid state integrated sounded. With fully discrete componentry and essentially dual mono layout under the hood, it sounded as good or better than any $1000 integrated built in the present era. The A402 unit I purchased appeared to be in very good, original, untouched, and unmodified condition. The fact that it still can sound as good as it does is a testament to high quality of Japanese workmanship during the later part of the 1970s. If you see one of these for sale, don't pass it up. At today's prices they are a stone cold bargain.

This amplifier is quite nice. I've driven high demand Infinity RsIII speakers with this amplifier without any trouble. Currently I have the amp hooked up to Infinity RS 6 with wonderful results. Bluetooth to aux 1 and old meets new technology. It's is a great example of 1970s hifi.
