    Houston we have ignition

Made for sounds engineers, really. Not just a pick up pedal like distortions. Each knob is part of an overall balance. If you use it right, it will add amazing layers to your sound. Been playing 20 years nonstop. Rock, jazz, metal, classic, indie.

  • Good useable tap tempo analog delay

Great warm bucket brigade analog delay tones with tap tempo capability. The blend/gain knobs are just a little tricky to dial in a good delay level without a volume increase or drop when the pedal is switched on. Expression pedal input is great - I haven't used the built-in effects loop but I bet it's cool. The modulation is nice - square wave can get wacky. Maybe you like wacky. The tap tempo with subdivisions makes it so easy to use live.

  • Good but not sustained

The tap feature is wonderful, and works really well. The delays I found did not decay naturally unless the note was still being held while playing. For me personally I wasn't too fond of this and like the Faux tape echo for this reason a little better when it comes to just the delay itself. The tap divide is really useful and the pedal is great in a live setting.

  • Effects loop makes it such a creative tool

The FX Loop is where this pedal really shines. BBD analog delay that you can pair with ANY effect and have the effect only applied to the wet signal? Winner winner chicken dinner lol -- don't like the dirtier delays of this pedal vs the DMM? Put an EQ pedal in the FX Loop. It's such a versatile pedal, you have drive, modulation, and all sorts of tone shaping tools. For the cost diff between this and the DMM, get some cheap pedals to throw into the DMB's FX Loop, and you have all sorts of ambient walls of lush sound. Love this pedal, thinking of getting a 2nd
