    Great receiver good sound

    Great receiver was able to hook it up to my record player, and the sound is great,(does not have the warm sound of my pioneer sx-737 but it's fine) I also set my tape deck to it and also sounds great, I was not able to figure out how the bluetooth works on but but quite honestly I don't need it, with the Heos app I can setup pandora, Spotify and many more, I can even play whatever is on my device trough the network trough it. Also set up the TV trough the optical cable,(I don't use the HDMIs) and blew me away for just 2 channel, I do need a subwoofer soon but for now this is great.

    Involves lengthy set up.

    If you are looking for a receiver you can listen to right out of the box, then this is not the receiver for you. Although the sound quality is good, it does not have the power I would expect. Be aware there is a lengthy set up process before playback of any form of music or the ability to listen to radio stations.

    Great unit!

    For an old time audiophile this really hits the mark. I am still listening to my Klipsch corner horns and really have no need for surround sound since they turn my whole house into a sound stage. This amp really gives the gut wrenching punch to the bass and the highs and midranges are phenomenal. I can’t believe that a unit in this price range can deliver this kind of performance.

    Only good choice for those wanting good stereo sound with a sub out in their AV rooms.

    It could have a few more sound controls like frequency output choices other that treble and bass, but sound is good and is simple to set up with plenty of inputs. I good option for those of us not wanting a plethora of tiny speaker everywhere in their room instead wanting good stereo sound with a powered sub.
