Absolutely Fabulous and Amazing
This is one of my favourite CDs from Queen as a group and Brian as an individual. Now I have one for home and one for my car. Brian May is amazing and spectacular in every way and his music in any format is well worth having. Normally I have a lot to say but this music takes my breath away. There is no better guitarist/song writer alive, and Cozy Powell on drums -- what more needs to be said.This is one of my favourite CDs from Queen as a group and Brian as an individual. Now I have one for home and one for my car. Brian May is amazing and spectacular in every way and his music in any format is well worth having. Normally I have a lot to say but this music takes my breath away. There is no better guitarist/song writer alive, and Cozy Powell on drums -- what more needs to be said.

Brian May on the spot light!
I've been a Queen fan since 1979 and I learned to love this distortion... uhm, I would say that his guitar sounds like an animal been tamed. This is the actual first ALBUM, not considering the 1983 Starfleet Project that had just 3 tracks. I'm not going through every single track, but I can say that you can see a part of Brian that is also presented on Queen's work: vocals arrangement. I simply love it and the opening title (The Dark) is pure guitar feeling! Im my opinion there are a few songs that stand high: The Dark, Back to the light, Resurrection and Last Horizon. This CD in particular is from 1993 with a darker cover and Brian holding an acustic guitar (with a bonus track). If I'm not wrong there's the 1992 version with Brian's face on the cover that is white. I hope it helps you ... The music on this disk is much more simple and straightforward, and of course, you won't have the showy vocals of Freddie Mercury. What you will get are solid rock songs, written well with interesting lyrics. You will also have Brian May on guitar, with his trademark sound and a band with a great steady beat. If your a fan of Queen you should enjoy this cd. If you like awesome guitarist, then you should enjoy it too.This cd isn't quite Queen, so don't buy it expecting the glam/rock feel.
