    Great reference for Northeast US vegetable gardeners

    Monthly chapters provide recap of plants to start inside, transplant to cold frame, and plant in garden. Also provides info on raised beds, how to build a cold frame, grow lights, etc. book is an easy read and continues to be a great reference after many years. I’ve adopted many of his insights and made a few modifications.

    The New Victory Garden by Bob Thomson

    I first bought this book 12 years ago. I used it so much, I had to buy another one, I wore it out!! This is a great book!! It is so full of information, yet it is a fast enjoyable read. Full of space-saving ideas for gardeners with small gardens. Full of time-saving ideas for all gardeners. Details on so many types of vetegtables.

    The New Victory Garden

    This is a great must have book for gardeners. This book is full of great information about gardening that is helpful for beginners as well as experienced gardeners. The information can be easily adapted to different parts of the country. I had a copy of this book years ago, but somehow lost it, so I decided to buy another copy on Ebay.

    the new victory garden by BOB Thompson (1987)

    I used to watch the victory garden program on LPB, and when this book came out it was a had to have. Bob thompson was the king of gardening as far as I was concerned. Read it from front to back many times. Made me the gardener I am today. thanks BOB
