Not Top of the Line, but well worth the money!
No Dead Pixels, Sharp Picture, Full Function Remote, Light Weight (with battery), Loud Speakers. Like I said in the title it's not a Sony or Panasonic, but it also is 1/3 the price of a Sony or Panasonic. Battery holds for about 2 1/2 to 2 1/4 hours depending on how long you pause, fast forward, etc. The Silver case is a little lower end in terms of looks, but who's stairin' at the case, there's a 7" video screen in this thing. Also plays CD, DVD-R, DVD, DVD-RW, pretty much all but DIVX, but unless you burn movies to your computer, etc. Lastly, 5.1 Dolby Audio Output with S-vidio, in a portable for this price! Haier 7" Portable DVD Player - PDVD7, a good buy
Having bought this portable DVD player to keep my 3 year old son occupied on a recent road-trip, I hadn't given much thought to what I would like to get out of it. I just wanted it to work. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it work great as a portable DVD player, it works well as a standard DVD player. I have had it connected to my standard definition television as well as my LCD projector, and it has worked roughly the same as if I would have tried to connect a larger, typical DVD player. It comes with the necessary connectivity cable, AC and DC (car cigarette lighter) power cables, and even a remote control, which I was not expecting. Done with the good, and onto the bad... If I were to see any modifications to this particular machine, I would like the LCD screen to have ... Lastly, the most common gripe... as with everything else in the world, I wish the battery would run longer between recharging. I get about 2 1/2 hours off of one charge. About the right time for a movie, but there is always the possibility of cutting the end of your movie off. All in all, I am more than satisfied with this purchase. Had I known then what I know now, I would have still bought this same item.

Haier PDVD player 7inch
I think this is a wonderful DVD player, this was the first time I had heard the name Haier, but it has a wonderful clear picture, it came with a remote, a cigarette lighter plug for your car, and charger. It has alot more buttons on it than my other one. My husband uses the one I had on the riverboat, so I needed on for the house. I seen this one and it was very reasonable so I won it, and I am so glad I did. I was alittle leary about it because of the name, but it has a beautiful picture, great volume and can do more things than my other one did that cost twice the amount of this one. ****It is now 2013 and I am still using this dvd player. I didn't see the writing that said no power supply with product. Thats pretty dumb I would of never bought it without the plug.
