40 year old amp & still pounding!
I purchased mine when stationed at Florennes AB Belgium back in mid 80's. After 3 moves total and 4 years of total abuse rocking out the dorms then two homes, this beast is still pounding my original Cerwin Vega D15-EE's purchased at the same time & only to have replaced the driver surrounds twice. I have not had any issues with this amp to this date with the exception of the volume knob coming loose and slight popping noise on a few buttons when pressed. (could use a cleaning) I'm close to 60 and purchased it when I was 21. Still in use to this date.I purchased mine when stationed at Florennes AB Belgium back in mid 80's. Great!
I still have this same amplifier, bought in Korea (US Army base) in 1984. Still works, has never had to be repaired. Amazing piece of AV equipment made to last a lifetime! Superior sound also in my opinion, just something about the harmonic resonance in pre-digital Audio equipment that appeals to me.
