    This appears to be a factory microphone, or at least an fairly exact copy of the original. I actually like the labeling on the keys better than the original!

    Don't Waste Your Money or Time On This One!!

    This microphone was used on a Kenwood TK-880 and worked well for the first week. In the middle of the second week, it developed a very annoying ticking sound in the outgoing audio. I ended up using it just to do the required DTMF tones, which it would still do, and then changed back to the stock microphone to do any actual talking.

    Microphone for kenwood TM-271

    I bought the mike a couple of weeks ago. It works fine. The only problem I have is with the push buttons. They feel kind of soft and they bounce. This just means I have to key it again. I am satisfied with it. I just give it a 9 out of 10. I am perfectly happy with it.

    Kind of works - but good price

    Kind of works.. PTT is OK. Audio quality not bad. DTMF does not seem to work with my transceiver. But for the price works fine.
