    Substandard for a Denon product.

    It's okay, but not exactly worth the money. These are only capable of playing the disc without having the remote. If you are thinking about buying one, make sure it has the original remote control, don't buy it unless it has the remote!

    Top quality multi format Blu-Ray player. Another win for Denon!

    The Denon DBT-1713 is an excellent multi format Blu-Ray disc player. It can handle SACD Blu Ray Audio and DTS Audio as well as all video formats. Simple to use too. I like that it can load up the disc quickly even with large loading files for extra features. The picture and sound on the 7.1 system supplied via HDMI is excellent. The picture is bright sharp and vibrant.

    Denon 1713UD

    I won this auction knowing it came with some problems. When I finish my current project, this is next on my bench. These units originally $600-800. The magic is it is a universal (TRANSPORT)disc player. Including SACD which greatly interests me as I plan to use with hi end amplifier. At 24/192 bit, it is gonna do my cd collection justice. I’ll update when unit is up & running.

    A real joy to own - at a great price point.

    Solid construction - solid playback - excellent video. Relative to our typically more humble purchases, this unit feels very high end - at a price that was not too painful at all. The SACD feature is a gas fo rthis format junkie..... It did not recognize one hybrid SACD, but then again, this is a pretty dead CD format.
