This is an EXCELLENT book. I am familiar with the author's work. He is featured on the Lord of the rings trilogy extended edition background information. Definitely an expert on the subject, and a highly intelligent individual!!! This book while extensively covering the material is easy to understand. The history written in the beginning of the book might throw you if you're unfamiliar with LOTR. This will not stop you from being able to learn the language. Easy to understand with explanations and examples given for everything!!!!! A definite must read for any fan.
