    Best Tube Amplifier available

    McIntosh tube amplifiers are the most user friendly, trouble free tube power amplifiers available. The ones to have are the original Mc220,Mc240 and Mc275. When McIntosh discontinued these amplifiers in 1967 their prices skyrocketed. Refurbished pre-1967 models are to be preferred over the later reissued versions because the pre-1967 models have point-to-point wiring rather than the printed circuits in the reissue versions.
