    An eBay bargain

    Auctioned as non-working. It had an obscure power supply issue that required some extended effort to find. The scope is repaired and works like new now. It's a fairly late model Tek scope that has become a valuable upgrade to my electronic tools collection.

    Great in their time, but contains an irreplaceable memory battery.

    These were great scopes, BUT this era of oscilloscope has a memory battery that is destined to fail in the near future if not already. The battery is not replaceable to my knowledge.
