I needed the an electronic cross-over for use with commercial EV speakers that perform significantly better than using the on-board passive cross over. The Behringer unit is was right priced and easy to set up. It has built in muting for both high & low frequency outputs which aides in set up. Two ranges of cross over frequencies are provide. Although I did not need it for my application, it also has a separate output for signal to a separate sub-woofer.

I only bought this for the sub level output. I've got two tops and I just got a dual 18 in cabinet that I put brand new Peavey Black Widow 18 inch speakers in. So I needed this crossover to send subsignal 2 the Dual 18 inch cabinet. It doesn't work at all. Getting all sorts of Pies, mids and vocals still coming through. It's a very simple piece of equipment. It does not work.

Sub output is why I purchased this one.it gets down low..it had a low frequency setting of ten/10 hz. I haven't seen one go that low before..most go 20 30 Hz as the lowest..be prepared for an awesome experience if use the 10 Hz setting..make sure your subs can endure.. enjoy.. thanks Behringer!!
