Accurate analog Volt Ohm meter
Hello, even in today's digital age, it is necessary to have an analog measuring device in the workplace. Unfortunately, I lost my equipment and because I know the quality of these devices from HP, it was decided what to buy when equipping the new workplace. I am from the Czech Republic and it is not so easy to buy these devices here, firstly because of the price for shipping and then because of the USD/CZK exchange rate. The 472A meter I purchased is in absolutely amazing condition, except for a few scuffs like it just left the factory. Before I started using the meter, it was checked, mainly the capacitors using LCR (Capacity, ESR, EPR and just to be sure, the capacitor in the source was replaced). It was missing a power cord and battery, which cannot be found in the Czech Republic, but I made both myself so as not to violate the originality. The device has incredible sensitivity and, after setting, accuracy, this meter also has excellent repairability in the event of a malfunction. Battery operation enables galvanically isolated safe measurement. Switching the polarity of the input sockets when measuring DC is also a great function - it is not necessary to shuffle the measuring cables, and checking the battery status when it is turned on is also great.

Still holds it's own 40 years later.
A wonderful bench meter. Still works perfect 40+ years later! Difficult to find in good condition, but worth the wait. Be careful of leaking battery(22.5v). My meter had "Option#1" which gives it mains power. Old-school HP test gear was built to last. The service manual is available from Keysight's web site. I will never sell it.
