These are my favorite pickups. PERIOD. I have a 1970's paf DiMarzio pickup in an epiphone les paul which was my sound for 20 years...until I tried these. I'd replaced a paf 36th ann.DiMarzio also, with the same G.M. 57 special pickup...wow. It's the sound I wanted from the start. I love the vintage tone, flat across the board eq on these pickups. Just enough high, mid and low to do the job. I have purchased 3 so far, and I will buy more.

Nice pickup!
I ordered this vintage output humbucker pickup for my HSS strat. This makes really warm, opened and sweet sound especially with the clean tone. The sound is emphasized in the strings 1, 2 and 3 and the sound is very beautiful. It also makes sounds that go well with thrash or doom metal from the early '80s. The second position of the 5 way switch on HSS strat makes bright and typical strat sound, and I like it.I ordered this vintage output humbucker pickup for my HSS strat. Good PAF clone in my opinion
Best replacement for PAF pickup. Love the sound. I will use these in the future. There have been rumors of the pickups being microphonic, well they DON'T feed back unless you want that long note to squeal, they are QUIET pickups. If you're concerned with microphonics, foam behind the pickup will insure you won't have issues with any pickups. Vintage output, kinda similar to the original Ace Frehly era dimarzio paf's.
