Very happy with this unit. It has a super small profile which I like a lot and the sound is FANTASTIC. I have it up with a pair of Audio Engine HDP6. I was concerned that the amp doesn't put out a lot of Watts, not even quite enough to match the recommend on my speakers. The company that makes the amp states that they are very efficient and will drive better than others at higher ratings. The speakers also state that they are very efficient and pair well with digital hybrid amps so I hoped that if it was true on both parts it would be fine. Turns out it was true and they sound great! My only gripe is that I wish the amp had an actual tactile button you could press to turn it on. It has one of those weird touch sensitive surfaces that if you touch in just the right spot (above the power light) it turns on. It works fine but because it is glossy that means you always have finger prints on it when the lights hit it just right unless you use only the remote. I think a clicky button is more fun to use anyways so I think this was a poor choice, but really very minor. Great product.Read full review

This thing is a true bargain! I tried mine on a pair of $8,000 speakers with ribbon tweeters that are extremely revealing of ANY treble harshness or "etched" sound quality, and this NAD sounded smooth and open, not at all harsh. Midrange was really great and bass was well controlled. This is the BEST sounding amp to use with revealing speakers in this price range. And you get a decent DAC and respectable phono stage, too!

For its price range this is the best Bluetooth receiver on the market it's DAC is incredible and of course atpx compatible which is a must. Power is very impressive it drove a large pair of floor speakers "my Kappa 7s" to way above average listening levels. I believe this little guy is underrated at 30 watts per channel.

After reading glowing reviews from respected audiophiles I decided to purchase one in order to replace a vintage Onkyo 809A that was starting to have problems. I was concerned that I might miss the 105 watts per channel of the Onkyo but I was amazed when I first heard the NAD paired with my Klipsch RPM600’s. It’s all the power I need and the sound is excellent. I mainly listen to jazz, and I can find no faults with the sound. Highly recommend!

This is a truly superb amplifier. I don't have a lot of super high dollar hi fi equipment, but I never buy cheap junk either. I used to not think a receiver made a big difference in the sound of music and certainly speakers play a bigger part, but this has made me reassess how much the amplifier matters. I am using this with B&W 685 S2 speakers and truly loving the sound. Having all the different connection options is great. My phone connected with no problem via Bluetooth. I'm having some problems with my PC connecting vie bluetooth, but the service from NAD has been superb and I am confident they will find a solution. Great connectivity, great sound and great support. Can't ask for more than that.
