    Dryer start switch

    Made my dryer work again. Old switch was stuck. It's supposed to work similar to a cars ignition switch. Just turn it from 11 o'clock position to 12 o'clock position, let it go, it bounces back to 11 o'clock. Dryer starts up, and stops when you open the door or when the cycle finishes. This genuine GE start switch is good quality, and much much cheaper on eBay than at local appliance store.

    OEM part from General Electric

    Only $9.43 for this OEM part sealed in plastic from a GE factory in Mexico. Great value compared to the $57 list price I saw on the GE website. It's a snap to install. Very easy DIY job.

    works perfect for a fraction of the cost to have a repairman come to home

    Switch works great, only problem is that the wiring connections are different from original switch, Luckily I had the old wiring diagram and was able to switch the wires to the correct terminals. You should include the new wiring connections with the switch
