Had a hard time finding this type of player. We have many, many Video tapes and many CD's so we needed both. We were happy to find this my husband is sooo happy. So am I love my tapes and have such wonderful movies on these tapes.

This machine is easy to use and easy to install. Picture quality even with old tapes is great! Quiet when in use. The cons are that it doesn't have a clock/number area and cannot record VHS to DVD.

I've bought 3 over the years
These are made by a division of magnavox, and still work off the remote that I have from my very first one I bought over 10 years ago. I get every pay channel available on cable, so I record a TON of movies and t.v. shows to DVD, as well as transferring old VHS tapes to DVD. this machine not only works great for both, but also allows me to hook up a stereo amp so that I have a GREAT Home theater sound.
