First of all the description was spot on for this Pioneer PL-560 so the seller is honest. Second it is not easy to pack a turntable for shipping but this seller knows what he is doing. The tone arm was cable tied to the rest. The platter was removed and packaged under the table with foam. Then the table was bubble wrapped multiple times and taped all around. Then the box was lined with thick foam and the table was placed inside the foam and a layer of foam on top. The box was sealed very well.

Huge Quad!
I bought a good working all original qrx-9001. I actually like the sound better on this compared to my g-7700. But compared to my other quad, a qrx-777 (qrx-7001) the qrx series kinda sound the same. But the higher you go the more wpc and power. Power is needed if you plan on running all 8 speakers- make sure they are 8 ohms. These quads are great machines. They are huge and very heavy. At two feet wide they will not fit in regular stereo cabinets or racks and the weight will snap a shelf. Once a location is set, keep it there. Give it lots of room to breath. They can get hot. These quads are known to have issues. Mine eventually died. No power, no lights, no nothing. To fix them is not a walk in the park. Technicians who have the experience and resources to commence with such a task are ... I bought a good working all original qrx-9001. I actually like the sound better on this compared to my g-7700. I have owned many vintage receivers, quad and stereo alike. This receiver, essentially 2 of the 9090, is one of the top 5. You will read all kinds of stuff online about all of the vintage offerings. The 9001 will have a power to feature ratio that outdoes them all. ALL VINTAGE receivers need work. (Period) why not get one worthy to put the money into? These have a power and bandwidth that surpasses the 50wpc rating. 1. Have the quad board pinned, 2. Do not run 4 ohm speakers while in powerx2 mode, and then...enjoy. A phenomenal choice for enjoyment as well as invenstment. I prefer this unit over the Marantz 4400.I have owned many vintage receivers, quad and stereo alike.
