This Sansui amplifier features full monitoring, recording, and dubbing facilities for two stereo tape decks. For all play/copy operations, the Sansui AU-517 has three switches and a rotary knob. With a subsonic filter, this DC stereo amplifier eliminates all harmful frequencies from 16 Hz and below on a 6 dB/octave slope while still safeguarding musical content. Ensuring a stable performance during temperature and voltage changes, the Sansui AU-517 has a pre-driver circuitry. Moreover, the master volume control of this Sansui amplifier has a potentiometer with 32 calibrated steps marked in decibels to help determine the average power fed to the speakers.

First of all the description was spot on for this Pioneer PL-560 so the seller is honest. Second it is not easy to pack a turntable for shipping but this seller knows what he is doing. The tone arm was cable tied to the rest. The platter was removed and packaged under the table with foam. Then the table was bubble wrapped multiple times and taped all around. Then the box was lined with thick foam and the table was placed inside the foam and a layer of foam on top. The box was sealed very well.

    Pretty good. Almost worth the price of admission!

    This is a nyce amplifier if you looking for raw power. The sonics are kinda flat but- it's capible of getting quite loud when you want/need it. I have some Sansui SP-200 speakers that are hard to push and this amp does it with ease...Maybe it's the speakers I have hooked up now but- I don't really see the extreem demand on e-bay for these...Or the 919/719/317 ect other than they last forever. I would still rather buy these and get the components seperatly to make a nyce system than the new black plastic junk coming out of China lately though...(A/V receivers)

    Amazing dual-mono block vintage Sansui integrated amplifier

    Awesome 1978 dual-mono block 65 wpc beast. Recapped and replaced possible-problem transistors on all boards. Replaced rectifying diodes with fast modern equivalents. Replaced the big 4 power caps (upgraded to 15,000 uF 63V United Chemicon). Even replaced the old 24Vdc protection relay. Hooked up to some Mirage M490is speakers (known to be a bit lacking in extreme bass), the soundstage is nothing short of staggering. Deep bass is clearly noticeable and distinct - not boomy or flabby at all. Mids are perfectly balanced. Highs are well-defined and non-fatiguing. Btw, this model is just below the TOTL AU-717. Both apparently sound the same. For a vintage 70's integrated amplifier, it sure has a modern-sounding (wide, detailed soundstage) with a lot more punch than today's BPC units ...

    Waiting, Waiting, and WAITIIIIING!

    I can't recommend it because I still haven't received it. Waiting long time! I ordered about 12 of these cap kits and only got 5 of them.
