I caught a break here! These are no longer made in the U.K. but instead in China. This is not to say China does not turn out good merchandise. They do! But this isn't one of those pieces of merchandise. The G12K once listed and still pictured with the words "IPSWICH U.K." are still pictured in many cases but not the one you will receive at the lower price sold in retail and online retail stores.stores. The G-12K is now manufactured in China and the quality is JUST not the same. So as I was saying I caught a break here and got one labeled IPSWICH U.K. England whatever exactly is printed on the back. If it isn't printed on the back label, 9 times out of ten there is a sticker affixed to the side of magnet that says "MADE IN CHINA." I put this in a cabinet over a year ago but I ... A true beauty and site to behold for the dedicated gear heads of all ages.

Celestions Best and Most Versatile Speakers
These G12K-100s are very clear in the high end without harshness and tight and solid in the low end. It's transparent and takes well to high gain cabs. I had four of these in a 4x12 using them with a JCM800 and it was the sauce. This is one of Celestion's best and most well balanced speakers. At 100 watts power handling it can take the heat. I've currently got two of them in a 2x12 cab. They're versatile. Excellent for cleans or distortion.
