The gear fit correctly and replaced the broken one on an RCD1.3D unit inside an old Philips / Magnavox clock radio CD player. I noticed I needed a retainer on the metal shaft to keep it in place while upside-down, so I used a tiny piece of rigid, clear plastic with a hole drilled in the center.
