Wanted to install some crown molding in my home but didn’t own a nail gun or a compressor. Did some research and found out there are a few nail guns that are portable. What I needed was a nail gun that shoots 2 inch brads. Started shopping and found the Porter-Cable to be just what I was looking for. I purchased one and tried it out and it surpassed all my expectations. Excellent product. Would I buy it again? Yes! You can’t go wrong.

No doesn't shoot one nail after another second after second but however in my humble opinion you should be aiming for the studs and minimizing scarring of the Woods that you're using for baseboard trim or whatever it might be using a Brad Nailer. Also if you look at system investment, the. P/C gun is much less when you consider other requires compressor $$$, Decent hose $$$$$

there you have it. not as fast as air nail guns or as light weight but you don't have to deal with noisy compressor or dragging hoses. it is as powerful as air guns. goes through 2x4 like nothing. depth adjustment works good also. obviously has more electric parts that will wear out at some point but for the price and convenience, you can't go wrong with this PC at half the price of other brands.too bad they didn't make this brushless hence 4 stars.

I had borrowed one from a friend last year. It worked really great. No air hose or extension cord to drag around. It will operate just about all day on a single charge . 1st read the directions and then it's smooth sailing.
