Frigidaire changed the design of these type door shelves for their newer refrigerators, presumably to make them more durable, adding additional plastic where it mounts to the door. However, after only 2 months of use, we had a large plastic bottle get wedged in the shelf and when trying to remove the bottle, it lifted the shelf and the shelf cracked and broke off. The clear plastic is just more brittle than the opaque white. I still have refrigerator drawers and shelves from a Whirlpool refrigerator that are over 30 years old that we repurposed in the garage and they are fine. The materials are opaque white plastic, metal, and glass. We had similar problem with clear plastic bins in prior Kenmore fridge cracking and breaking. This white shelf, although not the same part number for ... Only time will tell. For part numbers, if they end with 01, they are made of white opaque plastic. If the part number ends with 02, it is clear plastic.

It would be great if it fit.
Shelf was put in with difficulty. It was hard to place. We put some items on it, closed the door and it fell off, along with all the items we had put on it. None were breakable, thank goodness! We tried three times to get the shelf to fit properly and each time it fell out. I bought a shelf just like this from another company and it fits perfectly.

Breaking this part stinks!
Finding the replacement for cheap? Priceless. I would give it five stars but the fitment is not as good as factory original but for eleven dollars or so? Well worth it. I hate that people use crazy glue to try to fix or worse yet some kinda' stupid duct tape situation. Lame and embarrassing. Again, a good product at a cheap price.

Fits Great!
I had called the manufacturer and they were sealing these for 4xs the amount here. These were a great price and came fast. At first they weren't fitting in correctly but then I noticed they weren't flushed all the way in so I pushed on the tabs to make them snap in and they fit perfectly. It's so nice to be able to fully stock my refrigerator now.
