Used it to remove 1/2 inch pipe nipple from tractor rear hydraulic port that snapped off. These 1/2 inch nipple pipes internal diameter actually measure 5/8 inch and the 1/2 inch extractor barely fit. you need to tap it in with hammer several times about 1/8 inch for it to grab then slowly turn with wrench for it to catch better. I removed 2 broken pipes with same piece and came out with one try and they were tightly in before removing.
