To start with, it's very heavy. When I put the oil in it, it ran out of the tip as fast as it was going in. Really made a mess. Glass and cutter were covered in oil. A pain to clean up. Once the oil is on your hands everything gets oily. Sooo, I didn't refill it. Once everything was cleaned (and not slippery) I put it in a glass with just a few drops of oil for the tip. (which is why I replaced my 15 yr old cutter) It actually cuts very well but next time I will invest more and hopefully get a better cutter. I no longer do a lot of stained glass but work mostly in glass mosaics, therefore I don't cut glass nearly as much as I used to. It does suffice for what I need.
