Whether to recommend or not, good value or not, and good quality or not depends on your conditions and usage. For me, not so good due to somewhat reliable windy situation. Just propping the lids open exactly as designed, they are quite easily caught by anything stronger than a mild breeze, and the lid flies open. One week after setting up, and it wasn't even that windy, a stiff breeze caught the lid and flipped it over the other side, bending the frame. It's still usable, even damaged, but I now know I have to take extra precautions from wind damage, which is annoying. The lids are like wings, and catch a good breeze very effectively from underneath. The props do not secure in any way or hold the lids down from the effect of a breeze lifting it up. One day that was somewhat windy, the lids lifted up even from the closed position! Also, these units are flimsy and not designed for using weight to hold the lids down, making some sort of fabrication with wire from one side to the other on each lid fastened to something other than the not strong unit itself to prevent the lids from flying open. If I lived in perfect conditions (who does?), and no wind ever, or surrounded by wind-breaks, I think it would be fine. Construction is very simple and not very strong at all. I wouldn't buy another, unless I used it indoors, and then why would I need it? !!Read full review
