Though its not an innately bad power supply either. This thing can put out about 400w safely but if you push it much beyond that the quality of the power degrades to the point it can cause malfunctions and random shutdowns. If your maximum load wattage is 400w or less it is safe to use this power supply. If you need the full 600w I would recommend buying a name brand.

The cables on this particular PSU are a joke. I had a Mid tower and the 24 pin power cable couldn't even reach the motherboards 24 pin power slot. The cord itself is less than 12 inches long and the rest of the cords are only just slightly longer at about 18" at best. If you have a small tower, and I mean really small, then this PSU should work just fine. It powers the specs of my PC just fine so far Specs: CPU: Phenom X4 9550 GPU: Radeon HIS HD 6950 RAM: 8GB DDR2 Mobo: Gigabyte MA78GM-SH2 HDD: 1TB Western Digital 7200RPM, 500GB Western Digital 5400RPM And one internal 80mm fan from Arctic. The whole computer draws about 420W under complete load so it seems to be doing it's job. I'll keep this updated as time goes on. EDIT: Started having problems with the GPU and the PC constantly shutting down. Overclocked my CPU to about 2.64gHz and overclocked my GPU to 850/1375. PC was constantly crashing under heavy load and I did everything to try and get it running stable again. I reverted everything back the way they were normally and the PC is still consistently crashing without hope. Thinking it may be this PSU because the efficiency on this is only rated at 70% and if my PC is running at 420W, 70% of 600 is only 420W which means this PSU should be rated a 400W PSU at best. Please avoid this and avoid my mistakes.Read full review

The first thing that caught my attention after installing this unit was not the warm glow of the blue LED, which is a nice touch, but rather how absolutely quiet this power supply was! I had to double check to make sure that it was indeed running. The 600W max output means that I can expand my box to well into the future. I am looking forward to a long and happy relationship with this PSU!

The power supply unit weighs like 2 ounces. Upon opening the package and handling it , i knew something was wrong. And just as i expected it didnt come close to 600 watts. Not even 300w . My 10 year old Logisys 300w out performs this POS.
